Our Mission
Mission Youth Detroit initiates local projects and partners with existing organizations to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the community. Our unique approach transforms volunteers into missionaries by facilitating meaningful relationships and spiritual growth at every step of our outreach.
What is Mission Youth?
Mission Youth is directed by Regnum Christi, a movement within the Catholic Church that helps people to live their faith deeply and to get involved in works of service that assist people with the hope of bringing them closer to Our Lord. Although we are a Christian organization, missions with Mission Youth Detroit are inclusive and open to everyone. In other words, you do not need to belong to any religion or a particular set of beliefs, and participation with us does not require a faith commitment.
Who is Mission Youth For?
We have a passion for creating dynamic, challenging, and transformative missions for teens with programs intentionally designed for high school and middle school students. Not a youth? We also have missions available for college students and young adults to create the same age-appropriate, life-changing experience.

Mission Youth is a pastoral program directed by Regnum Christi, an apostolic movement recognized by the Universal Church. Its guiding principles include encounter, evangelization, service, Catholic, Regnum Christi Spiritual Family, creating experiences that challenge participants to go beyond their comfort zone, and safety/security.
