"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations."

- Matthew 28:19

Say Yes! to an
International Mission Trip

Thinking about going on an international mission trip? You should - here's why!

When you step off the plane, you might feel like you've landed in a different world. Your surroundings are foreign, the smells are unfamiliar, the way people look and dress is different from the people back home.  You may not understand the language, and the daily routines and activities, jobs and schools might be very different from what you're used to.

But after a few days, you will begin to adjust to & appreciate this new place.  A small child might wipe the sweat from your face as you play together in the hot Haitian sun.  You will hold the hand of someone who is sick and realize that communication surpasses language with a touch, a look, or a smile.  Loving people suddenly feels a whole lot easier as you begin to really see others for all their beauty and worth, the same way Jesus sees you.

You can only learn so much about a culture from textbooks, your favorite search engine, or secondhand from a friend.  Sometimes you have to step out and go, not only to learn about others, but to learn about yourself.  And in that new place you will encounter Jesus in ways you never have before.  While holding that precious but malnourished baby, or singing songs of praise on a rooftop thousands of miles from home, or basking in the joy of a beautiful moment with a stranger, your heart will be forever changed.  Join us.

2019 Guatemala International Mission Trip

Guatemala missions reach out to the local communities that face great needs. Our missions are essentially a pilgrimage where you will be "roughing it" with friends and stepping outside yourself to be a missionary of Christ. Your mission work will serve both the spiritual and physical needs of the people you encounter. Humanitarian projects include building or repairing the local parish church. Spiritual evangelization work includes opportunities to interact with the townspeople by organizing kid’s camps, giving spiritual talks, leading sports activities and organizing liturgical celebrations.
